Getting to and around in Niagara Falls, NY is easy. There are plenty of travel options!

Public Transportation

Discover Niagara Shuttle – This hop on and off shuttle travels 14 miles through Niagara Falls and the surrounding towns of Lewiston and Youngstown.  Operates late May through early September.

Niagara Falls Scenic Trolley – Guided trolleys take you to several major attractions within Niagara Falls State Park including the Visitor Center, Cave of the Winds, Maid of the Mist, and Niagara Gorge Discovery Center. Park once and travel to park attractions while learning about the area. Operates April through November.

NFTA-Metro – Public bus transportation serves Niagara Falls and the surrounding communities. 

Local Airports

Buffalo-Niagara International Airport – This major airport is about a 40-minute drive from downtown Niagara Falls.  Buffalo International offers most major carriers with over 100 flights per day to more than 30 travel destinations.             

Niagara Falls International Airport – About a 10 minute drive from downtown Niagara Falls, this airport features Allegiant and Spirit Airlines. 

Rail/Train Service

Amtrak – The new train station is located on the north side of downtown Niagara Falls. Amtrak provides convenient, low-cost rail travel from cities throughout New York State and the Northeast.
